Meet Your Inspector
Hello, my name is Derik. I'm an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector serving Sacramento, CA and surrounding areas. I aim to be of service to potential home buyers. Guiding them, I seek to support my clients in making an informed decision, when it comes to their most important investment. I specialize in both pre-and post-listing property and Sewer line inspections.
My former experience includes over a decade of commercial property maintenance and renovations. Before shifting my career to home inspections, I worked as a Stationary Engineer maintaining high rise building equipment including - HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, and Fire Safety systems. Before that, I was employed for many years with my local County Sewer District.
With the Sewer District, I worked as an underground maintenance technician as well as a pump mechanic maintaining pump/lift stations throughout the County. Collectively, I believe the many years of municipal work have shaped me into being an experienced, educated, and humble home inspector. If I can make your home buying experience better in any way, I've done my job. I thrive off of helping others. It's one of the main reasons I got into this industry!

We perform home inspections according to the Home Inspection Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. We also offer ancillary inspections. Qualifications
Our inspectors are Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, which is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors that provides education, training, and certification.
Sample Reports
At the end of the inspection, we will produce a written inspection report for you. The report will be easy-to-read and clear to understand. We will include pictures of the systems and components of the home and building that we inspect. We will also provide a summary of the defects that we observed during the inspection.
